Guest Lecture on “Pharmacy as a Career” Organized at PES’s College of Pharmacy & Research Center, Phaltan
Phaltan Education Society’s College of Pharmacy & Research Center, Phaltan organized an informative Guest Lecture on “Pharmacy as a Career” on 7 February 2025. The program was organized for B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy students with the aim of helping them understand career opportunities, industry trends and future prospects in the pharmacy profession.
The guest lecture provided students with valuable guidance about building a successful career in pharmacy. Dr. Nagesh Hanmantrao Aloorkar guided the students on the main topic, “Pharmacy as a Career.” The program was also attended by Mr. Arvind Nikam, Principal Dr. Vikram T. Deshmukh, faculty members and pharmacy students.
The session created an excellent opportunity for students to learn beyond their regular classroom studies and understand how pharmaceutical education can lead to different professional opportunities.

Guest Lecture on Pharmacy as a Career
Pharmacy is a professional field connected with medicines, healthcare, pharmaceutical science and patient care. Students pursuing pharmacy education need not only academic knowledge but also proper career guidance to understand the opportunities available after completing their studies.
Keeping this need in mind, the college organized the guest lecture for B. Pharm and D. Pharm students. The program was conducted on Friday, 7 February 2025, at Phaltan Education Society’s College of Pharmacy & Research Center, Phaltan.
The session was scheduled from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with B. Pharm students, D. Pharm students and faculty members as the audience.
The program included a welcome, felicitation ceremony, Principal’s address, guest lecture, question-and-answer session and vote of thanks.

Welcome and Felicitation of Guests
The program began with a warm welcome to the guests and participants. As part of the felicitation ceremony, Mr. Arvind Nikam felicitated Dr. Nagesh Aloorkar. Principal Dr. Vikram T. Deshmukh felicitated Mr. Arvind Nikam.
The felicitation created a positive beginning to the program and expressed the institution’s gratitude towards the guests for spending their valuable time interacting with pharmacy students.
Principal Dr. Vikram T. Deshmukh also addressed the gathering and shared his thoughts with the students.
